Founding of Conductix-Wampfler subsidiary / Product authorizations and certification for the Russian market since 2006 / Peter Böhler, General Manager

Weil am Rhein, April 2007. Wampfler AG and Conductix, Delachaux Group companies and leading producers of mobile energy supply and data transmission systems worldwide, have founded a new subsidiary. Based in Moscow, Conductix-Wampfler will serve customers in Russia in the areas of crane technology, mining and strip mining, logistics and automotive technology.

Having already entered the Russian market successfully for Wampfler, Peter Böhler will serve as the General Manager of Russian subsidiary. The 43 year-old started his career with Wampfler more than 20 years ago. In 2005, he became a manager for “International Business Development” at the distinguished Weil am Rhein company. Starting in April, Boris Moskovskiy will join the team in Moscow. The 35 year-old Russian will begin as a manager for “Sales and Business Development” before assuming the role of director after a successful start-up period.

Perfect starting position

Wampfler has an excellent starting position in Russia. Since last year, the company has had all of the necessary product authorizations and Gost-R certificates for exporting products to Russia. Additional partners in the significant economic centers of Russia should provide a network of first-class customer service in the future ranging from project planning to sales all the way to on-site service. “The Russian market continues to open and is one of the most dynamic markets in Europe. Our successful entry into this market and the founding of our new subsidiary will allow us to play a larger role in it,” says Stefan Ziegler, CEO of Wampfler AG.
