eCarTec from April 15 - 16 in Paris

Conductix-Wampfler was present at the 1^st International Conference for Electric Mobility held in Paris.

With the presentation focused on Inductive Power Transfer, the audience was able to hear about the current processes, as well as the exciting future of inductive charging for electric vehicles.

After a short presentation on bus lines operating with opportunity charging, the main concerns and challenges relating to inductive power transfer were addressed – safety, efficiency, vehicle and infrastructure integration.

During the two-day conference there were plenty of opportunities for open discussion – particularly between the industry experts attending the conference, from battery manufacturers to mobility experts and insurance companies. The concept of wireless charging for electric vehicles, along with the fact that many technical challenges are being tackled, raised a lot of enthusiasm among participants.
